By all accounts “Turn Me On, Dammit!” was a roaring success last night. The Arthouse Film Series had its biggest crowd yet and I think we all know who we need to thank: Randy Fuller.
If it wasn’t for Randy’s misguided screaming from the pulpit that this film was going to open up a sinkhole directly to hell under Tuscaloosa, who would have gone to see it? The crowd would have been composed of the couple hundred grad students, locals, professors and progressives who usually support this thing. Without Fuller’s support this film wouldn’t have been anything near success it would have been. We would like to thank Randy for raising Tuscaloosa’s awareness and goading liberals to see this movie just to spite him.
Congratulations to you Randy Fuller, you are a true patron of the arts.
Ok, I’ll stop traffic whoring now and go back to making fun of the CW or T-news.
Edit: The boys at WellThatsCool have a nice write up about last night. Clicka the linka.
